White boards and markers will increase student involvement and in turn add to the number of students who will reach a learning objective. They will give all students a chance to participate, and encourage those that may night like to speak in class. Utilizing their own dry erase boards students will become more confident, and will be more likely to participate in group discussions. Students feel more confident writing their answers on white boards and sharing than they do just raising their hands. This will encourage all students to be involved, and take educational risks. This will make for a richer classroom environment for all students.
