My classroom is a community in which all students can learn math! Students are learning from and with their peers, gaining skills they will use in all areas of life. Students work together in pairs or small groups, using their collaborative skills to share their ideas and thinking. They are encouraged to use the resources available to them to problems solve as they work through real-world scenarios and solve problems. Developing skills for higher levels of learning and qualities that will enable them to persevere as they continue their education.
