The Hand2Mind Fluency kits help build true fluency built through number sense and flexibility. Each kit would help provide my students with the hands-on and motivating learning experiences they require. My students thrive in math through the use of manipulatives and real-life experiences. The kits give different visuals and manipulatives to support students. For example, there are anchor charts to ensure retention of learning of skills and concepts. The math talks included support communication and explaining math thinking while supporting language development. The number of skills and concepts that are incorporated in the kit are endless! The Hand2 Mind Fluency kits would fit into my math instruction and supplement the work we already do to create thriving mathematicians.
