We are in need of new furniture because our couch and chair have holes in the upholstery. They pose a danger to children as they children may peel the fabric off and ingest the material. We are not able to keep our current couch and chair due to them being a safety hazard. By replacing the couch and chair in our classroom, we will meet the safety requirements for state licensing. We currently have a couch and chair, however, unfortunately over time they have become damaged and worn. I am asking for a new, easy-clean couch and chair. My students love the couch in the house/dramatic play area as they sit and pretend to feed the baby dolls. They use the chair in the cozy area as a place they can go to when they need a break or just to be alone and read.
