We are requesting a couch and chairs that will allow students a comfortable place work independently, in pairs, or small groups. So much of our day is spent collaborating with one another and it's nice to have a comfortable space to do this. The lap trays let students work around the room on the floor, and the bins are for students to store their supplies as we don't all have desks anymore. It allows students choice and engagement in their learning! We always talk about how we are a family and now our space will feel like a home! Flexible seating give students the chance to learn in a "real-life" setting.
