This is a town with a very limited recycling program. The city collects trash 2x a week from 60 gal plus containers but only recycling 1x a week from small bins. Having the students in multiple organizations, student council, NHS and key club, run a recycling program at the school will in turn cause them to encourage it at home and possibly even change the city's attitude about recycling.
