Sitting at a desk all day can be hard for grown-ups, let alone students with special needs! Your generous donation will help transform an old storage closet into a usable student work space and sensory room. Sometimes, you just need a break! Exercise balls, scooter board, trampoline, and an exercise mat will provide movement for wiggly bodies while drop-leaf desks and chairs will create a quiet work space for students who are noise-sensitive or just easily distracted. Sensory activities can help get our students in that "just right" place for learning. At our small school, space is at a premium. Your support will ensure that no square foot goes unused so that every student has the opportunity to receive what their unique learning style demands.
