Most of the students have individual educational plans that require the use of a calculator. To properly provide these students with calculators, I need to update the current supply within my classroom. The old calculators are OLD and dying. They also lack key features like trigonometry and logarithms, which are necessary in Geometry and Algebra II. Specifically, my students will use these calculators on a daily basis. For example, they will be computing procedural tasks and completing projects based on applications. Furthermore, the new calculator aligns with the given calculators on standardized assessments. Incorporating the new technology will offer clarity, legal services, and hope to students who feel people do not want to invest in them.
