My students are amazing inner city students who sometimes are forced to come to school hungry. With the help of this project I will provide snacks for my students when they come to school hungry. If they are focused on being hungry there is no way they can focus on doing their school work and being successful. Other teachers at my school do this and by just handing out popcorn, crackers and fruit snacks they have seen such an improvement in students moral and grades. There are also less behavior problems in these classrooms. My goal is there are no students I teach that are ever hungry.
