In order for some of my students to achieve those goals, and get close to grade level reading proficiency, they need a variety of book levels. Sadly, I do not have all the resources to do that. My classroom library does not meet the needs of my classroom. I used to teach upper grades, and the book levels I have are too high for my current students. A leveled library is very important in the early grades. With this donation, my students will be exposed to a greater variety of book at lower levels for both English and Spanish. With your generous donation, my students will be well on their way to reading success! Your donation will help my students continue to learn how to learn. I will use these leveled readers for guided reading groups, and for independent reading at their individual independent reading level. With your help my students will become better readers.
