Having solar panels will enhance a focus in the area of force and motion within our integrated S.T.E.M. leadership program. The students will work in their project based learning teams to compare and contrast inertial and solar energy. The solar panel vehicles will be constructed to perform various scientific experiments. Students will observe and calculate the different speeds, velocity, and distance of both vehicles ( vehicles used with ramps and air pressure balloons vs. vehicles with solar panel as source of motion). Not only will these materials (solar panel vechicles) make a difference in my students academic understanding, but also in the future of solar energy.
