It is impossible to teach the way every student learns. I wish I could. In public school it just is not feasible with the amount of students and lack of resources. Several students struggle in math. They get discouraged, they give up. Thankfully, we have technology on our side. Some students who dislike math try Khan Academy for the first time or Learn-Zillion and they understand it for once. I see the joy light up their faces when they answer questions correctly; they finally understand. Currently I have one laptop for the students to use. I have 20-25 students in every class and one isn't enough. Hopefully with Donors Choose we can help more students' faces light up. School shouldn't be something they have to go through painfully, we have to find a way for them to love being here.
