Our classroom is diverse. We have students operating tractors in the field, we have students welding, we have students working in the greenhouse and we have students writing speeches. There is a mix of interests from the students and we need a mix of educational resources to be able to appropriately teach these varied interests. The modern agriculture classroom is not just "plows, sows and cows". The modern agriculture classroom is a science lab where global hunger is addressed. The modern agriculture classroom is where students learn leadership and advocacy. The modern agriculture classroom is where students learn public speaking. This modern agriculture classroom is where tomorrow's leaders are being developed and I am the teacher sho is lucky enough to work with these future leaders.
