We want to purchase Kindle Fire tablets to be checked out to classroom teachers. The Kindles can be used in place of old worn paperbacks, to access class set titles. They will also be used for class technology projects. Our students need more technology in the classrooms! These devices can help them teach literacy standards, as well as STEM standards. In the library, they will be used for special research projects. Our students deserve a world class education that includes the types of technology they will use in the real world. This project is a step in the right direction!
