I am requesting Picture-Perfect Science lessons and the books that go with it in order to integrate science and reading. Students will read to increase their reading skills as well as build background knowledge of science concepts. Students need opportunities to read about science as well as complete experiments through the scientific process. My students will read these books to synthesize and evaluate information to form conclusions which support our reading standards. Peer groups will complete science experiments with provided materials to experience and prove what they have read which supports our Science standards. These books will allow me to teach Reading and Science at the same time!
