My 5th grade team wants to take our classes on a field trip at Flumin Kohala on May 30, 2019. This learning and adventure exploration will equip the students with new knowledge about the place and history of Kohala. It will also provide them with the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of nature, cultivate the love for the environment and a venue for learning outside the four corners of the classroom. Learning while having fun with peers and adults in a non conventional manner will be fostered through this journey. This is also an opportunity to create a lasting memory among my young learners. Twenty of my kids in class are excited to learn more about the historical places in Hawaii island. Your generous donation to this project will not only support my educational philosophy but most importantly will make a great impact in my kids authentic learning experience. Learning by experiences usually bears much fruit and lasting impact. Therefore, you are part of kids' holistic learning.
