Amazon's Echo would be a great teaching aide for a classroom. The Echo is able to help when a topic needs some additional answers or information is needed when a class discussion is going on. It can help students spell a word, reducing interruptions. The Echo can become a classroom assistant tool by setting reminders, timers, alarms, sharing the weather, picking a number, flipping a coin, or rolling dice to randomly select students, and more. Our school has a high population of English language learners. It will be beneficial to all students but especially the ESL students . It can define words, show correct spelling, generate synonyms, and antonyms to help with their writing. It can check math equations when they are calculating math problems. The Echo can share additional information, facts, pictures, and more to support topics being taught in class. Amazon has created many educational applications (apps) that teachers can use in their classrooms with the Echo.
