Science Discovery Day is an annual event that provides our pre-k through eighth grade students with opportunities to engage in professional demonstrations by scientists in our community. This year, I am determined to include our middle school scientists in leading their own presentations to our school and community. Your kind support will provide future scientists to develop their skills of inquiry and presentation through our Science Discovery Day.My students have already begun to explore their interests and have chosen their experimental topics. These topics include genetics, light energy, robotics, and chemical reactions. The science kits and presentation materials I have requested will help me to make their demonstrations exciting and educational. Every day my students ask if they will be working on their investigations, showing just how much this experience means to them. Giving them this opportunity to satisfy their curiosity is the best part of being a teacher.
