About 2/3 of my students are from military households. Some of them have been here less than a year, some 1-3 years. The other third of my students have been living here for a long time. I've been teaching Special Education students for 11 years. One thing I've learned is every student has a gift. My job is to tap into their gifts and make it shine. I'm there to help them build their skills, and to build their confidence in their skills. They come from a range of backgrounds, experiences, strengths, and needs. These factors are important when laying out their educational plan.
