As technology continues to move forward, it has become a necessity to have access to in the classroom. Coming from a low-income area, my school has little access to constant technology for our learners to use. Although we do use some technology in the classroom, this is shared by the whole campus. My classroom currently has no technology to call its own. By having a document camera and projector in our classroom there will be much room for new activities and experiences with these supplies. The range of academic abilities in my classroom is very large. By having these forms of technology in our classroom I will be able to use my time more wisely and assist my learners more effectively. Learners would also have access to this technology which would be beneficial on our project based learning environment. All in all, these children are growing up in an age of technology being the norm, but with limited technological resources in the classroom. Incorporating these devices would surely enhance their learning by including more activities, multiple intelligences, and feeding their learning needs.
