Listening to Reading is a key component in our reading program. It is beneficial to all learners to be able to listen to books. My higher readers learn new vocabulary, and my struggling readers can hear and learn words they may have not known. After listening to a book and following along, students are much more likely to attempt to read it independently or share it with a friend. The materials requested in this project will be placed in our listening workstation. Our Class Motto is "The more you read, the more you know!" By donating to this project you will be helping students become better readers while they are being entertained.

About my class
