The two classrooms of 4th graders I teach are full of excitement & anticipation for reading historical fiction. This is their first exposure to this genre. They recently researched the American Revolution & had a debate between the Loyalists & the Patriots. They are VERY much looking forward to venturing into the world of historical fiction now!
