Many of my students have ADHD and have difficulty sitting at a typical desk for the length of a school day. I would like to give my students the option to stand to complete thier work, as well as, have a place to get their wiggles out. Having a place to stand or wiggle will help them to focus much better on their school work. Standing to complete work allows them to move a bit more freely and since the desk has a kik bar. the student can use thier foot to move the bar back and fourth without disturbing anyone. The wiggle seat allows a student to sit at a table or desk. Since it does not have a lot of structure, it forces the student to focus on their balance in order to sit on the seat. I have seen both of these valuable tools work wonders with students with ADHD and would like to be able to provide my students with some realistic options to deal with their wiggles.
