As fourth graders, my students like to move and wiggle, but there is a lot of work to get done. By allowing them to stay in one spot but still wobble, the kids would be able to be engaged throughout the whole lesson. I have many students with ADD and ADHD and they have a longer attention span when they are using the wobble chairs. Who doesn't love getting sucked into a comfy chair or floor seat while reading a good book? My students enjoy getting stuck into a good book while sitting in a chair that they chose. When students are comfortable, their brains are open to learn.
