These materials will directly benefit my students by providing them the opportunity to learn by doing. Our community outreach project is working with a local animal shelter that rescues dogs and cats. My veterinarian dress up, the kit and book will allow my students to pretend to be part of our community project. The alphabet hands-on manipulatives will allow the students to create the alphabet and use the locks for letter matching, while building their fine motor skills. All of these materials directly correlate to our common core standards in building academic and social standards, while also increasing fine motor skills. Your help in funding these materials for our classroom would be greatly appreciated by myself and my students. Thank you for your consideration!
