The goal of my autism intervention classroom is to give students the sensory break they need each day. By funding, you will transform my classroom into an area where these students can thrive. This is the first autism classroom at Southside and my first year teaching, so there are a lot of tools needed to transform it into a motivational work environment for students with autism. I have utilized my personal resources and my school's resources, but I need your help to make this classroom everything that I know it can be for my students with autism. I want to create a warm and inviting env. where students WANT to be and I need these supplies to do so. Students with autism have trouble processing sensory input, so I will use these supplies to create an area where students can learn AND desensitize.
