Second Language Literacy With a subscription for a class set of the student magazine EL SOL, my students will become informed about current topics related to the Spanish-speaking world while they increase their reading comprehension. Each issue will provide multiple days of use, and back issues will be available for students to peruse during free time. I've used these magazines in the past and the students have always been very excited to get their hands on a resource that is not a book or a worksheet. The extension activities provided in the teacher's manual for each issue are very helpful as well.
