Our school is striving to be a one-to-one device school, and I am the lucky recipient of a class iPad set! The set includes a storage cart, multi-plugs, charging cords, and 27 iPad minis. However, we NEED HEADPHONES. Some of my students began the school year with headphones, however most are broken by now. Many of the families in our community do not have the financial means to replace them. With the use of these headphones, children will not pull cords, reducing the risk of breakage. Having these headphones would allow my students to listen to applications that require sound without disturbing the learning of others. Some of the apps that are very helpful that we use daily are: Smarty Ants, Epic, Reflex Math, and Splash Math. They each require the ability to hear the device in order to progress. Additionally, the headphones are machine washable, re-usable, and I already have a space for storage!
