My students are always exploring and coming up with fantastic ideas. I try to provide a space for them to explore these ideas in the classroom, but there is only so much that can be done alone. we need your help to provide these 30 students with opportunities in coding and exploring STEM. Working with minority students, it is upsetting to read statistics like, "In 2013, 70% of workers in science and engineering occupations were white, which is close to the proportion in the U.S. working age population." It is our duty and privilege to work towards closing that gap. With these kits, my students will have the ability to work on complicated problems, to feel the joy of finding a solution, and get hands-on experience that could carry with them throughout their schooling years.
