Our project was requested by students that enjoy playing Uno, chess and other games. Our students seem to need a sense of belonging and being a part of a community. We were sensing that this need is not being met outside of school, thus we designed this club as a possible solution for a few students. The games requested will be a great start to our Game Club. We hope the Club prospers and we can continually add to the Club in the future. This request will get us started and on our way! Students will be able to be engaged in positive after school activities that are not the typical sporting activities. The games will also encourage engagement and communication among peers. Overall it will create a positive school environment for the students involved.
