Many of my students have difficulty sitting in one area of the room for the day. They are unable to work at their desks due to the discomfort and inability to move around while working on projects. I want to add to the options they have for their workstations. The standing-desks would provide a more intimate area for groups to work, as well as an area for individual students to use when they need to be up and moving and still accomplish a task. As adults, we all need diversity in our work space. I believe my students need a even wider range of choices to enhance their individual learning styles.
