I believe a foreign language cannot be learnt only from a book or a video. My students need to experience the different festival activities and cultures by themselves. And we will learn Chinese numbers, colors, pronunciation, characters while we are playing the Chinese chess or mahjong, or jump chess, and so many other interesting activities. And we can know more about the different culture and history behind. February, we will have our China's New Year event, so my kids and I can use the ink and the paper to decorate our campus. While practicing calligraphy and Chinese painting, they can take part in a very different festival!
