My school does not currently have a designated space for meeting a child's sensory needs. My students' sensory needs are not met by the normal day to day activities of school. A therapy swing will offer a means of gaining appropriate sensory input in a safe manner. The diverse culture and specific needs of our schools are not easily met in the general education classroom. Offering a specific location for this item will help to engage them in a calm and safe environment, regulate their bodies and ease anxiety throughout the school day while increasing their ability to be successful with their academic curriculum
