My students love to learn, especially when a computer is involved. Most of my students do not have a computer at home and look forward to using one when they are at school. As a teacher, I am looking for strategies to not only enhance students understanding of concepts but their parents as well. Oftentimes, students will take what I teach in class home and show or try to teach their parents. I believe this is what education is all about. No longer are we restricted by the walls that make up our school, but are seeking to totally immerse the community outside of our school. No two students are alike, therefore, they need technology to access individual data and learning programs to increase opportunities, thus increase overall achievement. A laptop computer will be used by students in a differentiated learning center to enhance, engage, and meet the needs of students in my wonderful class.
