Our scholars are 100% on free breakfast and free lunch. For many of our scholars this is the only place they receive a healthy meal. Many of our scholars come from single family households without the means to always be able to prepare their students with the necessary school supplies for the year. Many of our scholars have experienced indescribable hardships and come to school as a safe-haven for their personal struggles. Often, some scholars have to walk through areas of violence to and from school. Despite these hardships, we believe that our scholars deserve the best educational experience and that we need to work together (Families, Schools and the Community) to provide our scholars with the skills necessary to have the most opportunities to thrive.

About my class
