As a school, we are brainstorming new and innovative ways to keep our students headed down the right path, both academically and behaviorally. Creating a space for middle school students to earn time to build positive relationships with adults and their peers and receive a tangible reward in the process will alter our culture and climate for the better. In an attempt to improve their behavior, we are wanting to use their interest in "gaming"on a Playstation 4 to celebrate all of their growth and achievement. Although the causes of their behavior range from parental neglect, abuse, addiction, and more, we would like to make school a "safe house" for all who enter. In addition, and in an attempt to maintain the longevity of the system, we would also like to request Clorox wipes to clean the items and prevent germs from spreading, which will also keep our students healthy and in school.
