My students love learning with technology. In a classroom that is lacking in technological devices, this iPad would be a wonderful asset to have in my classroom. It will allow students to complete online assignments as well as use educational apps to enhance learning. My students will have the flexibility to use them anywhere in the classroom as opposed to having to sit in front of a computer screen in a designated space. This makes it more convenient for students to work in centers. Having tablets would be perfect for students to use when completing collaborative assignments. This iPad would be used daily and the students would greatly benefit from their use. It would allow my students to have more independent work time and my early finishers extra engaging activities as well as modify content for students with special learning needs. It will also allow me to begin working toward having a technology center for students to use during group time.
