Many of my students struggle with maintaining focus while sitting still all day. These balls will help with my flexible seating plan that is already in effect in my classroom. Since implementing the flexible seating strategy, I have seen a huge improvement in students ability to focus, and in turn have seen improvement with their academics. The students in my classroom are a very energetic bunch who will look for any opportunity to move. Having these chairs and balls available to my students will ensure that each and every student in my class is able to increase their focus through movement on a daily basis. The students will be able to bounce and balance on the balls as they are learning to release some of their pent-up energy that accumulates throughout the day.
