This project is important because we use headphones for daily learning. Headphones will make it easier for students to focus on their individual learning while using district wide programs. Students will also be able to research topics of interest without disturbing others. During the day I work with small groups of children based on their academic needs. If each student has a set of headphones, I can assign digital lessons to those I am not working with in a small group. Each student will be responsible for taking care of their headphones. This is a great way to instill responsibility and independence.
