At a young age, children use their imaginations to engage in pretend play, not only for fun and entertainment, but to learn about the world around them. As a speech language pathologist, I also know how to provide play based therapy to increase vocabulary, facilitate expressive language, and narrate each child's individual thoughts and ideas using descriptive and rich language. The materials I am requesting includes a dollhouse, farmhouse, animal puppets, and a full pretend garage. These items help make the difficult process of learning common vocabulary, and daily routines a blast! "Words are, in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic." -Professor Dumbledore, Harry Potter Book 7
