Kinetic sand helps students acquire fine motor development skills through squeezing, squishing, and smashing kinetic sand. My students love to learn and play in different ways. They are excited to try new things, explore the world, and take everything in! They are also young learners who are learning how to make friends, take turns and help one another. Through educational enhance play squeezing, squishing, and smashing kinetic sand promotes and develops hand strength as well as encourages creative thinking. Kinetic sand also supports students with sensory processing issues, anxiety or stress, and can be used in a wide variety of counseling techniques. Additionally, playing with kinetic sand has a calming effect on students in high stress situations, it is used as a calming and self-regulation tool. Kinetic sand is mess-free sand that helps students learn.
