Students with dyslexia must be systematically taught the phonetic code, the six syllable types, and other structures of the English language. As they are learning, they need high interest books that use words that only contain the phonemes they have been taught. Reading high interest books that use only the phonemes they have been taught, helps dyslexic students become fluent readers. I ordered 4 copies of each book so I can create two phonetically controlled libraries for both our first and second grade teams. If there is any way to order from other companies, there are some wonderful phonetically controlled chapter books from High Noon publications for our older dyslexic readers.
