It will help track reading by students. My students are required to take a test over their books after reading them. Most will finish a book and won’t read another one until they take the test. With tablets in my room they can take a test right away and start a new book immediately. It will increase work completion in class. Many of my students have no real motivation to complete their work. I am sure when they see students finish what they are assigned and then they can work on the tablets, that they will be more motivated to try harder to get work in. This will also increase knowledge because they are increasing practice of new skills.
