When do you do your best work? When you are sitting in a hard plastic seat for hours on end or when you can find your just right place to work? Kids learn better when they can move and have some options of places to sit while working. I want my students to be engaged learners and having some more flexible seating options will make this a reality. I know as an adult I do my best work when I can prop my feet up and get comfy and I know my kids are the same. I want to give them some different options in the classroom for seating and for movement options so students can choose where they can do their best work. As an adult I need to move, so I know my 4th graders do too. Please help give my students some options in movement through the bouncy bands and seating options with the bean bag and cushions.
