This will give us the opportunity to practice for our soccer matches. As of now we have to borrow the soccer balls from our High School team. The reason we want to get shoes for our athletes is because these athletes are stars off the field and many would see a lift in their self-confidence. Recently, Houston has experienced some of the coldest weather and as of now we have to borrow the soccer balls from our High School team in order to simply practice. These supplies will help our middle school team gain confidence in themselves. All of our supplies are handed down from the High School team and they have not seen new uniforms or training equipment in recent years. These shoes would lift our team morale and allow us to build a sense of pride. One small detail could change the whole array of our school culture.
