The Reader's Workshop model has been well received in my second grade classroom. My students really enjoy being able to take control of their reading and I know they will love having more choices like The Geronimo Stilton and Jake Maddox series to choose from! They love having their own books boxes and look forward to the time they have to choose new books to read. It is our favorite time of the day! My second graders find their own place to read (on the rug, in the quiet corner, desk, etc.) and are immediately engaged in their book. It is amazing to watch!
