These math manipulatives will allow my students to master number recognition, sequencing, and counting to 30, as part of our new state kindergarten standards. The set of number puzzles and number key manipulatives will add fun and excitement to their learning. The materials will provide me the opportunity to work with small groups of students and differentiate instruction using tactile materials that address their needs through different learning modalities. These materials will help my students be better prepared for first grade math, and their lifelong academic path. These hands-on math manipulatives (counting and recognition puzzles, sequencing puzzles, number dice, and number keys) will help them recognize numbers to 30, develop 1:1 correspondence and a solid number sense base. The storage bins will be used to create an organized space for these hands on materials.
