As many of my students are Emergent Bilinguals, some are often timid to share in front of others due to their language barrier and lack of confidence speaking in front of others. I want to create a fun and safe place for all students to feel comfortable speaking in public. In third grade, we try to speak and present not only in small groups but to the whole class to prepare for being a global citizen. To encourage my students to participate more and share their valuable thoughts, I would like to have two wireless microphones that students can speak into which will allow for all students to be heard. This will help to diminish embarrassment from not being able to be heard. The LED lights will go around our whiteboard and will be used whenever a student is presenting to make our learning fun and engaging. Even though my students love to learn, we need to switch it up sometimes and create new learning atmospheres that take students to a new level.
