My students need blocks to help them practice their fine motor skills. Blocks provide many opportunities for children to practice predicting and experimenting. My project includes people the children can use with their blocks from a variety of ethnic backgrounds and with various abilities. These people will help spark conversations about how we can be friends even though we are all different and will build social and emotional skills. Also included, are blocks to build a house and a simple machine set for science! These blocks will make a difference in my classroom as they provide children with opportunities for role playing!
