I am requesting instrument reeds, valve oil, and bassoon straps. Our music students perform in many different capacities in our school, from pep rallies and assemblies, to sports games and concerts. The band is requested by the community as well, performing in local parades, hotel grand openings, and community service events for veterans and other causes. Putting working equipment into the hands of these students will allow us to continue to create beautiful music. By giving them working reeds and support, the students will be able to continue to perform for venues throughout our community. The reeds will be used in our instruments to perform, and the bassoon straps will allow our bassoonists to hold up and support their instruments without fear of breaking them.
